Hardscape is now complete. James used TGM Blue Stone and a piece of Redmoor Root wood. It’s currently being filled with water and will look better once it’s been filled as the marks on the aquarium will be less visible. We’ll cycle the Aqua Soil for 3 weeks and then plant it… more coverage to come.Here is a photo from just before the hardscape was started:

James performed a live aquascaping demo in our Wrexham gallery showroom on Friday 28th November 2014. After completing the hardscape a few weks ago, the Aqua Soil has been successfully cycled, so the ammonia spike has diminishd and the flter is ready to go. At 3 years old this super tank was transformed into a jungle style aquascape. The hardscape and substrate are the originals, only the plants were changed. It’s now 3.5 years old.
